Situated within a stone’s throw of the hotel, the splendid Palais des Rohan (Rohan Palace) was built under Louis 15, between 1732 and 1742, for Strasbourg’s cardinal and bishop. He made it his main residency in the historical heart of the city. Besides the wonderful cardinals’ flats, you can also visit the archaeology museum, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Museum of Fine Arts.
